Last Abstract Submission: 10th of November, 2024
HSSS Conference’s endeavour is to provide a platform to foster multidisciplinary discussions and support debates on the different economical, historical, managerial, pedagogical, philosophical, scientific and technological issues surrounding systems studies. They seek to advance knowledge about the effective and efficient implementation of systemic thinking by individuals, groups, organizations, society and nations for the improvement of economic and social welfare.
The scope of the HSSS Conference ranges from the mechanisms through the development of principles to the application of those principles to specific environments. More specifically, papers presented in this conference should be designed to inform researchers, developers, managers, strategic planners, users and others interested in state-of-the-art and state-of-the-practice activities in the systemic thinking, systems design and systems practice areas. The international perspective is emphasized in order to develop the foundations for achieving solutions for the global needs.
Contributions
We welcome contributions that build on established lines of work as well as novel research streams. In particular, we are interested in high quality well-defined and analyzed theoretical surveys that provide a synthesis and comprehensive review of the historical development of one particular area of interest, and empirical studies, with strong grounding in a current or new approach, on important issues that have potential professional impact on organizations and are of value to researchers and practitioners in general and the systems research community in specific.
Publication Opportunity
Abstracts presented at the conference will be published in the conference Program & Abstract Book (other Proceedings will not be published).
Authors, who would like further to publish their work, can submit their papers to the International Journal of Applied Systemic Studies (IJASS) (providing that there are high quality papers that are relevant to the main scope of each of this journal) and be considered for publication in special issue of the Journal. Peer review for each submitted paper will take place following the rules of IJASS.
